The Aquarium of the Pacific
Ruben, Carissa & I took Riley to the Aquarium for her first time! Although she probably didn't understand what was going on too much, she still enjoyed seeing all the different marine life. And she especially loved to bang on their fish tanks. Sorry, fishies :/ It was a nice, warm day and we all had a good time!
Joey's 16th Birthday
On May 15th, Riley's uncle Joey turned 16! We all went to Dave & Busters at the Block of Orange to celebrate. We also walked around and did some shopping after :)
My sister April & I took Riley and Amelia down to Oceanside to visit Grandma & Pop and to spend some quality time together. We stayed in a hotel at Oceanside Harbor and had plans to go walk around, maybe do some shopping, have a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon and just take the girls out and about. However, April came down with a cold and she ended up resting during the time of our stay. Riley & I didn't mind though, especially because Riley was crawling around everywhere that it kept the both of us busy. We'll have to try it again, sometime. This time, hopefully no one will be sick!
All of our baby stuff = 2 carts!
Cassidy's 1st Birthday
Riley's play mate Cassidy celebrated her 1st birthday this month! We went to her party, which was at her house, and enjoyed the amazing food and cupcakes they had! It was ladybug themed, which made it even cuter! It's been really cool to have known Cassidy since before she was even born! So, of course, we weren't gonna miss her celebration! Riley even enjoyed her first cupcake :)
Ruben and I took Riley to Sunset Beach for her 1st beach trip! She LOVED it! She liked playing with the sand, and liked the wind in her hair. She mostly just sat on her towel and looked around while soaking up the sun. We let her touch the water (which was freezing) and of course, we had to write her name in the sand and take a picture of it! She ended up eating some sand at the end, but i'm hoping she learned her lesson and won't try and do THAT anymore! We didn't stay long, but the time spent was enjoyable.
