On July 17th, Riley and Amelia got baptized together at St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Long Beach. It was a lovely service and we were blessed to have our family and close friends there to witness our little girls' "rebirth." Riley was baptized by her mommy, daddy & godparents (Paige's sister April, brother-in-law Brandon, & Ruben's brother Johnny). Amelia was baptized by her mommy, daddy, and godparents (April & Brandon's friends Evy & Drew). We all celebrated at Cirivello's afterwards and enjoyed some pizza, wings, and cake!
Riley's FIRST 4th of July
This year, we spent 4th of July at our house. We BBQ'd, played in some water, and of course watched fireworks! I brought Riley's ducky bath outside so she could play in it and cool off while everyone just lounged around. I think she was a little too big for it though, because she kept crawling out of it. We had our own fireworks that we did in the street and watched other people's as well. Riley wasn't a big fan of the loud noises, but she was okay as long as she was sitting with mommy or daddy. It was very relaxing and nice to be able to spend a holiday at home.
