Riley's 1st Birthday!

On August 7, 2011 we officially celebrated Riley's 1st year of life with close family and friends. Riley's party was held at Palms Park in the community center; it was just big enough to hold all the guests that came and it also had a little kitchen which was very convenient. We picked Palms Park because of the community center and the park itself had a cute wading pool which was perfect for all the little kiddies that wanted to play in it and the playground equipment was a little more updated than most of the other parks in the area. Riley had a great time seeing and spending time with everyone; her favorite part was probably being able to eat more cake than usual! She had a modern day "1st birthday" theme which was just a lot of pink/animal prints. The party was only a few hours and we opened presents at our house after. Ruben, Riley and I are thankful for everyone that came to celebrate our baby's 1st birthday and aren't anxious at all for her 2nd!
