Paint N Glaze

This past Sunday, Ruben & I decided to take Riley to a place called Paint N Glaze in Long Beach. It was something different, and I thought it would be fun to make something together. It was our first time here, and it was fairly cheap! We paid a studio fee of $8 each (Ruben & I) and got to pick whatever items we wanted to paint and depending on how much our items were, we paid for those and that's it. Ruben picked a plate that cost $10 to paint for Riley; he wanted to make a Muno, from Yo Gabba Gabba, themed plate. I chose a coffee mug for my mom (late Mother's Day present) to paint which also cost $10. We were able to choose as many different colors as we wanted, with no extra charge, and were able to keep going back if we ran out or wanted a different color. There was an instructor there that helped us with how to paint the plates, which colors to use first, how many coats to use, etc. It took some time to finish both of our pieces and luckily Riley was entertained by another little girl there as they played in the kids play area. I would suggest everyone visit here at least once, as it is very kid friendly, and a lot of fun!

Almost done with the 3rd coat of red paint!
The colors looked pastel while painting them..

After we were done there, we went to the Lakewood Mall to pick up food for dinner and ate at home. It was definitely a family Sunday Funday!
Ruben put me up to the challenge of trying to fit as much meat as I could into this small bowl at Gengis Khan. If you've been there, you know that you're not allowed much room for meat and veggies. I was successful, of course ;) And he doubted me...

The paint and glaze shop looks like so much fun! I think that Ariana would just paint and glaze her hands though haha!
