On March 10, 2011 at 2:25 in the afternoon, Amelia Walker finally made her arrival!
After months of waiting for her, I finally got a call around 2 am that my sister's water broke and they were going to the hospital! Of course I was NOT surprised that this would happen in the middle of the night and not at a more convenient time during the day, but I was still super excited and knew that since day 1 Amelia made her own rules. After having to go drive down the street to wake my mom up (because again, she wasn't answering her phone during this time of urgency!) we both went down to Long Beach Memorial to meet with the parents-to-be!
It took 12 hours, but she finally came and we all couldn't be more excited! I went home earlier in the morning to get Riley, and after running errands, we waited patiently for 3 hours in the waiting room. Riley didn't mind because she was anxious to finally see her brand new BFF!
