After mastering sitting up by herself, Riley is now wanting to move on to bigger and better things...CRAWLING! Though she's not crawling YET, she's definitely showing signs that she wants to!
Often times when Riley is sitting and playing with her toys, we'll find her on her stomach in less than a second...Usually when we turn around to get something real fast or take our eye off of her for a moment. She's a sneaky little monster...
At first, I thought that this was happening by accident; maybe she was trying to reach too far for a toy or just lost her balance. She would also get her arm or leg stuck under her after she toppled over. Then, as she started to do it more, I realized that she was just practicing... going from herbutt to her hands and knees! Yes, it was a little frustrating at first--having to pick her back up every time because she started to cry. But now I'm just glad that she's learning.
Shouldn't be long before she's actually crawling! Then we're REALLY in trouble.
